The creative director and founder of Hair Rules Anthony Dickey is responsible for the ingenious and innovative line of products and salon that is taking over the big apple. So who is Anthony Dickey? The hair styling professional and author who is better known as "Dickey", has stuck with his mission of dispelling the typical myths of what beauty really is throughout his career.


From working with celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Alicia Keys, to contributing to high end magazines such as Vogue and Vanity Fair, Dickey has acquired a vast knowledge of the mystery behind textured hair. Not only is textured hair not yet fully understood by the hair-care industry, but because of this women with textured hair have had to compromise their product choices and the services they use according to Dickey.


So what did Dickey do? He wrote Hair Rules!: The Ultimate Hair-care Guide for Women With Kinky, Curly, or Wavy Hair, in hopes that a new standard of hair care would be born and a "multi-textural world", as Dickey refers to it would be accepted. Along with his book came the Hair Rules line of products ranging from cleansers and conditioners made to specifically target the needs of kinky, curly, and wavy hair types.
